Leader of the Majority

Vladimir Illich Lenin was a major player in the push for a Russian revolution.  He represented the working class believing that someday they could overthrow the system of autocracy which had been in place for centuries.  He broke off from the Social Democratic Party and founded the Bolsheviks.  Through a system of taking control of labor unions and distributing communist propaganda, he convinced the common Russian people that it was possible to stop the inequality they faced since the middle ages.

This website outlines his role in Russian history along with that of the Bolsheviks, Russian for the majority.
